This all-original example mirrors the one in the ad and features a 12” JBL D130 speaker, rough white tolex and maroon grille. Note the tone ring and the fiberglass batting around the interior of the amp and the reinforced back panel that were part of the single-speaker cab construction. Note also the oversized head (26”) as compared to the width of the 12” speaker cab (30”). There was barely room to mount the thumbscrews for the head brackets. The 12” version of the Showman was discontinued in 1964. MB
