This amplifier is the "missing link" between the "small cab" M-8 amplifiers and the "large cab" M-8E amplifiers that emerged in 1957. It has all the features of the larger M-8E amplifier -- lucite handle, stag gray covering, metal badge, 8" Jensen Alnico speaker -- but in the smaller M-8 sized cabinet.
