This amplifier was given reverb from the get-go of the blackface era. This example, like many other Twins, has later-dated replacement speakers - in this case, JBLs. The original speakers on these amps were often blown out by its 80-watt-plus power rating. This amp became the gold standard of Fender blackface combo amps for the assured delivery of powerful volume and tone for larger venues. PK
