Expanding upon the basic design of the model 3000, the 3001 had a full-scale (33-1/2") three-piece laminated bolt-on maple neck with walnut stripe, a single high gain hum-canceling pickup and three controls (volume, treble boost, bass boost). Like the model 3000, production was limited and most examples were issued between 1975 and 1980. This model usually came with a black pickguard and black plexi truss rod cover. This example in White was one of the rarer colors seen on this model. OHSC.
