The 381JK was first issued in 1988 in a limited edition of 250, all in Jetglo. The inspirations for this model were the '60s and '70s Rickenbacker 381 models played by John Kay, lead singer of Steppenwolf. This model has active electronics operating within the traditional RIC 5-control layout. With original hard shell case, COA and pamphlet explaining the model's controls and electronics.
