This early production January '69 model (serial # IA) has toaster pickups; the 381 was issued with hi-gain pickups later in 1969. Especially notable is its German-carved body front and back with an especially deep carve on the back of this early example as shown in the last photo, making the body almost three inches in depth. With checkered body binding front and back and Van Ghent tuners. This example is in excellent condition. All original with black OHSC with red lining.
