This model was Rickenbacker's first attempt to reissue the George Harrison double-bound 12-string guitar. Called the "B Series" (think Beatle), it was short-lived as several features were clearly not reflective of features of George's guitar, including "R" tailpiece, Fireglo burst spray pattern, bound soundhole, triangle fretboard inlays, silver-topped knobs and hi-gain toaster pickups. with OHSC.
