The model 380 was made with and without a 3rd piezo pickup in the bridge. This example has the piezo pickup. The 380 has a natural walnut body, gold hardware, maple fretboard with dots, two HB-1 humbucking pickups and no pickguard with the controls rear-mounted. A 380 having the piezo feature is difficult to distinguish from the non-piezo one; the clue is that in the piezo model, the individual bridge saddles are pickups (see last photo for close-up) and there is an oblong back control cavity cover, both as on the model shown. The number of the model 380 issued is not known, but is believed to be less than 100.
