Here we have a Comstock Jumbo-bodied guitar with maple back and sides in a 12-string configuration. This stunning guitar with a Blue Boy finish was one of the first of approximately 30 acoustic guitars constructed by luthier Paul Wilczynski under license from RIC, as a tribute to the 'Jim Reeves and the Blue Boys' band from the early '60s. This guitar features checkered body binding, headstock and sound hole, full width fretboard inlays and a specially designed 'Reeves-style' pickguard. Note also the slot-thru headstock to accommodate the octave strings. RIC-branded OHSC.
